The skill set and knowledge they have far exceeds most of the other trainers I’ve talked to. Honestly, what stood out most was how much they genuinely care about the dogs they work with.

Tony is awesome! He gets results no matter the problem. He gets it done in a short time. I don’t know how many dogs I’m gonna have in my lifetime but they will all be trained by him.
I’m happy with the results. Take your dog here and watch the stress leave your life.

Our dog has severe anxiety and fear with every little thing, especially new people. Antonio was able to come in and help us start building his confidence and teach us easy in-home training methods to start confronting our dog’s fears and build his confidence, which we have already seen work so far. He also told us about our dog’s dislocated hip, which a vet would never tell us about!!! He referred a chiropractor so our dog can live more comfortably and become more confident. We are looking forward to having him back a couple more times!

I have been working with these guys Antonio is amazing at what he does! I am a dog sitter, and I was dealing with a client’s dog who was nervous around me and would try to bite me when handling it. It came to the point where I did not know what to do with my own limited knowledge on behavioral training. After talking with the family, I begin a search for a local dog trainer to come in and help with the problem, and I came across Athens Canine Facebook page, read all of the great reviews and decided to schedule a phone call with him. It was easy to see how much knowledge he had, after explaining my situation to him he could immediately tell me some things that were going wrong both with the dog and some tips for myself too! He came over for the first consultation and immediately began fixing the problem! It was like magic! Within the first 15 minutes I was able to walk up to the dog that was once afraid of me and handle it with no biting! He came for a second session and we worked with both of the families’ dogs on various issues. I highly recommend! Very professional, personable and knowledgeable with no fear involved for the dogs!

Antonio worked with our very strong-willed dog Phoenyx. It has only been a few weeks but we have definitely seen improvement! She is a work in progress as are we as trainers/owners but Antonio’s knowledge of dogs and explanation of why she does some of the things she does has helped a great deal.

Antonio is absolutely amazing and professional when it came to working with my dog Loki. He was so patient and kind with helping me address my dog’s behavior of dragging me while walking him. Within 2 hours, I was finally able to walk with my dog without him dragging me around.

We had the pleasure of having Antonio train our German Shepherd for the in-home training program. We would highly recommend Antonio to anyone looking for any type of dog training, especially a newer puppy. He is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in all phases of dog training and we have learned a tremendous amount from him in a short period of time that is helping to really make a difference for us and our dog. Not to mention there is an absolutely huge difference in our dog’s behavior after this short in-home training program. Antonio not only was quickly responsive, but super kind and understanding and was NOT out just to get my money. Even found an underlying health problem with my dog that I had zero knowledge of! I would definitely suggest him and his services to anyone looking to get their dog where they’d like them to be.

I would recommend Antonio for any and all dog training and any dog needs. He has trained my dog and helped out a bunch with breaking my dog’s behavior towards my kids. If there was ever an issue, he was there to see it and correct it right away along with the knowledge of how he was correcting him and why and how we can continue to correct our dog as a family! Not only with training the dog but just overall a great personality. He backs up his work if there is ever an issue that I’m unsure of he will break it down to me so it can be corrected. My dog is an overall different dog…thanks Antonio u r the boom!!!!
